2. How much storage can I use during my free 45 day TRIAL period?
Customers are allocated 10 Gigabytes of storage for the 45 day trial period.
3. Why must I download the GlobalARK Data Protector software from the GlobalARK website?
To ensure that you receive the genuine product that has been tested and is supported by GlobalARK.
4. What happens to my data on GlobalARK if I decide not to proceed after the 45 day trial period?
You will loose access to your data and after a further 14 days the data will be permanently deleted.
5. Why am I not allowed to Archive my data during the 45 day Trial period?
Archiving replaces each file on your system with a simple placeholder. If you decide not to proceed then your data would be permanently deleted on GlobalARK and no longer available on your computer. Therefore during the TRIAL period GlobalARK disables this function.
6. How do I create a new 'filing cabinet" to store my data to?
Click on the "TOOLS" option on the toolbar and select the "Manage Cabinet" option. There is no limit to the number of cabinets you can create.
7. How can I share my data on GlobalARK with other businesses?
Click on the "TOOLS" option on the toolbar and select the "Manage Users" option. Enter as many details as possible for each new user. Users MUST be given at least "READ" access to one Cabinet and you need to supply them with the encryption key(s) that protect the files.
8. What happens if I forget my encryption key(s) that I used to encrypt my data?
There is absolutely no comprise on the security of your data. Access to your data is only via logging into GlobalARK and entering your encryption keys only. If you lose your encryption key no one can retrieve the data, not even GlobalARK!
9. Is there any limit to the amount of storage I can use to Backup / Archive my data?
NO...as long as it is paid for.
